    Kidnapping, Unlawful Restraint, Simple Assault Dismissed

    In 2025

    Our client was initially charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, unlawful restraint, and simple assault in Allegheny County. Following a preliminary hearing, the aggravated assault charge was dismissed, and the client was successfully released from jail. Attorney Exler was ultimately able to get all the remaining felony and misdemeanor charges dismissed at the trial level after she filed pre-trial motions which highlighted the inconsistencies in the Commonwealth’s case in comparison to the witness testimony rendered at the preliminary hearing.
