    Gun and Domestic Violence Charges Dismissed After Preliminary Hearing

    In 2025

    A client was charged with carrying a firearm without a license and simple assault. Following a preliminary hearing in Allegheny County, we were able to have all charges dismissed after highlighting that the Commonwealth, event at a prima facia level, was unable to establish the client had knowledge of the suspended carry permit. Also, the testimony was inconsistent to establish a crime occurred for the domestic violence charges, resulting in a complete dismissal at the preliminary hearing.
